excuse me if i havent read through most of this shitty thread but there are closed torrent networks that can deliver ...virus free just about anything that u want....and they arent covered by license agreements because they arent in countries that carry them.

and ....lost revenue cannot be counted by downloads because nobody has got the cash to buy a fraction of it...the money doesnt exist...the software companies are chasing virtual dollars.....that dont exist...that never will.

You've made statements to contradict all of those quotes I listed. That makes you a liar. You say one thing and then do the exact same thing that you mocked others for doing. All you've done is attack personal character based on conjecture as if it somehow makes you less of an asshole.

Even if that were true, nobody has the right to steal my product just because they want it, no matter what their income. You won't starve to death without stolen music. If someone needs food, I will help.

That's like saying a Jeweler who leaves his Jewelry out on his porch in a bad neighborhood is not in any way responsible for the theft.

Get real. They make a product that is easy to steal so it's stolen. You ever hear a Jeweler complain about how much a good safe costs? NO! They charge people a little more money to cover it and just consider it the price of doing business. A lot of industries would have an easier time if people weren't... people. But they are so you deal with it in the way that maximizes your profit. Which is exactly what they have done.

If they wanted to end piracy they would... end of story
 
i love this thread. this is such a huge controversy. down in the cave we can see youtube links to instructional videos. why buy a paul gilbert video to learn guitar when its all on youtube.

a whole generation of kids is growing up not being able to remember a time without free distribution of copyrighted material.
