A curious thing... when I import a wav file, it plays faster than the original. This would be Ok but, when I then mix to a stereo file and re-import it, Im getting chipmunk sounds... any ideas on why this happens?? Any ideas on how to stop it?? Any help appreciated... Cheers Zeek......

I have Cubase conected to a Tascam 788 recorder. What I want to do is record a track off the recorder into Cubase. On playback I get an excellent undistorted signal, but when I push record, the signal becomes distorted. Any ideas on why this would happen?? Any help appreciated. Cheers Zeek

Is it possible to record wav files from the 788 to a CR-RW rather than a CD-R. I only have a few files that I want to take off the 788 and it seems a waste to use a whole CD. Thanks for any suggestions/help Zeek

Just a curiosity question.. Is it better to record the wah wah when initially tracking the guitar or better to leave it untill later. 2 reasons for asking, the tone I get through the wah wah sounds better than when I'm adding it later, but my timing can suffer a little with my foot, hand...

Hi all, another question. Is it possible to back up data from the 788 via SCSI onto a PC hard drive, instead of the CD-RW. It all sounds as if it should work but before I pull my PC apart to attach a SCSI conector I thought Id ask... Cheers Zeek
