I'm looking for info regarding the sound of these mics. How does the B-3 in cardiod sound compared to ther B-1? Is it close. I'm looking for a figure 8 mic and if the B-3 sounds as good as the B-1 for acoustic guitar...it's like I can get 2 mics for the price of one.

Does anyone have experience with these mics. I have the 4041 and wonder about getting a 4051. What is the difference in the sound between the two. I use the mic for acoustic guitar.

I'm trying to improve isolation when using 2 mics to record acoustic guitar and vocals at the same time. I have seen the foam things you put on the mics from Auralex...does anyone have experience with these, do the help or not worth the money? Any other ideas?

I have a blackface that has a problem with track 3. It will play recorded tapes but will not record. I'm connected to the ADAT by an Elco connector. Any ideas?
My LRC seems to be having a problem...when I press stop it goes directly into rewind. Is this a auto-locate function I've got programed by mistake or is it a problem? If it's an auto locate thing...how do I undo it? If it's a problem, is it fixable or do I need a new LRC? Please help.

I'm looking at a Soundcraft Spirit E series mixer for recording 8 tracks. In their price range how do they stack up? How does the EQ sound? I'm having some problems with my mixer an Alesis Model 24...would this series Soundcraft be a noticable step up?
How much ventalation does an ADAT need? To quiet the thing down, I was going to enclose it inside a rack case...do I need to provide vents?
