Has anyone ever tried to do this? Is it supposed to work in theory? I only have one PCI slot with the delta 1010lt, so this would be a good option for 4 more tracks.

What would be the specs for the fastest external harddrive I could get. I want it to be able to handle as many tracks as possible. I've heard 16mb cache, and I know it needs to be at least 7,200rpm or whatever. Thanks, I only know a little about this stuff.

Will these play in common CD players? I am pretty sure they don't, but I am at the car check phase of a recording (don't have a sub) and don't wanna burn through too many CD-R's (yes I am that broke). I've been using a cassette tape, but for obvious reasons I need to switch to CD's.

I got a SATA drive and hooked it up, but since I didn't have a floppy drive for the drivers and I was installing windows onto it, I think it was just recognized as a regular IDE. Does anyone know if this is possible to change to SATA without reinstalling? Thanks a lot.
