M-audio Delta 1010lt - Do I need the Maximum Audio Tools?

Are the maximum audio tools required for me to be able to run the Delta 1010lt to it's fullest. I could care less about all the extra's, I just need to make sure I can do all the regular level adjustments and stuff like that. I can get the drivers, but no maximum audio tools, should I be fine?

If you already have sequencer and audio editing software that you like, you really don't need the MAT.
