When im going through playback or inserting an effect. my sonar 8 producer edition will sometimes 'Drop out' then not respond. forcing me to close the program and have unsaved worked deleted. sometimes luckily the auto save feature saves it but not all the time. Please help in resolving this...

Whats up, Im a noob so ill get that out of the way. but im curious too know if there is a way i can get multiple track to go to one set of effects (just so i dont need to make individual effects with the same presents on the separate tracks) is this called 'busing'? Thankyou :)
