It's not a pedal, but the G-Major has 2 relays that can be used to switch amp channels.

    AMP MIDI foot pedals?

I do this with the Behringer FCB1010 switch and a TC Electronic G-Major. The G-Major has two relays that can be used to switch channels on non-MIDI amps. The 1010 is very programmable, and one button can be used to send up to 5 program changes and 2 control changes. This allows me to go from...

    XP 64-bit Worth It?

XP x64 works fine for me. I bought it to go with Sonar 5 and have been happy for a while now. However, it's no longer officially supported in Sonar 7. I think XP x64 is going to be one of those Microsoft "bastard child" operating systems - abandoned and unsupported long before it's come of age...

    Sonar 5,6,7

"64-bit" refers to four distinct and separate things: 64-bit processor 64-bit operating system 64-bit Sonar 64-bit mix engine inside Sonar The most important thing is that Sonar has a 64-bit mix engine, and that this engine functions if you tick the box, no matter what hardware, operating...

    Super Wide!!!

Clone the track, pan one hard left and the other hard right. Flip the phase on one of them. This will be super wide, but it will disappear completely if it ever gets played in mono. :)

    Session Drummer II

Drumagog is not quite the same thing - it's a sample replacer. You use "real" recorded drum tracks to trigger samples. It's usually used for replacing the kick and snare. EZ Drummer is great. Quick, easy, flexible, and sounds good. I bought it before SD2 came out, so I've never messed with SD2.

    Effects Pedals Into Four Track

I'm not going to lie to you. It's going to sound real crappy.

    Creating loops in sonar 6

Make sure you trim the clip at the "zero crossing." There's an option in the Snap to Grid dialog to snap to zero crossings. Do this at the front and the back end of the clip. You could also use a fade to fade in or out the part that's popping.

    fender twin or mesa lonestar

I haven't played the lone star, but I have a Mesa DC-3 and the clean is amazing. All of Mesa's hype is about the rectifier series distortion, but the clean sounds on a lot of their combos really impress me.

    EZ drummer in Sonor 4

If you haven't figured it out already, turn the EZ Drummer "Room Mic" WAY down and EZ Dummer will sound tighter and fit better into most mixes. I don't know why the default is so high - I guess because it makes the drums sound bigger when they're on their own. But try turning it down and see...

Cd / .wav file volume Level

Songsj, is there a volume control for your CD player? Sometimes the CD player plays audio through a different "channel" than audio files on disc.

Using Effects in Sonar 6 PE

I made a post about using Sonar's buses on my blog yesterday. It's basically the same thing dachay2tnr said, but it's got more detail and lots of pretty pictures. Also, Sonar definitely routes the signal through the effects in the order they appear in the bin. So putting an EQ before a...
