Me an my dude. i recorded this in my bedroom.

Im not finished with the track.i cut breaths an all that mixed up a little bit. some compression an this an that. just an opinion on anything i should fix. not word wise mixing wise. FULL HONESTY

ok so i have a nice set of studio monitiors, idk the name but there at gutiar center an not KR Rockets. but theres a knob that says . Input OFF or MAX level. idk what i should set that to mix with. i kept it on normal but idk if i should set to max? then it says High Freq An low Freq. idk what...

I really need acoustic treatment.

I usually get beats from soundcloud, soundclick, or youtube. sometimes the beats can just be a terrible mix all together, or sloppy work. but ive noticed on the nicer beats, they can get a little loud an idk if i should turn the beat down? or turn up my vocals. if i eq maybe the vocals would sit...

usually in the mixing stage i turn the track down so it wont slip. i have no idea if i should export the vocals then the beat, or export the track all together then master? i have no clue about mastering. but i have waves 9. so when mastering a loud track, what could i do to really bring that...

I use cubase 5 and i dont know why, but the song never has the full pound, or sound that it had in the recording. i dont hear the richness. i know mp3 takes some quality away.. but ik professional musicans still get there good sound after. idk what im doing wrong.. any suggestions or ideas?

Should i export mp3? or wave? i mixed it good i wanna know if i should master it as a wave or mp3?

When i make a smooth track all the levels are great not to hard to put it together. when i get on a loud beat or a banger its always hard to level my vocals with the beat. any suggestions.? idk what to do i wanna try getting it to the mastering part an maken turn down certin parts for the vocals...
