You can actually export the mix as wav and just play that. Or once exported, reimport it into cubase. That way you don't need cubase 7. You can still use cubase 5. When you export into a audio mix down, you export all your effects also. So cubase don't have to process them anymore. It free alot...

I am testing reason essential. I have one midi keyboard. My desire is to open both software at same time be able to play on Cubase on that keyboard and switch to reason. I fisrt start Cubase, then reason. The problem is reason is when reason start, Cubase stop listening to the keyboard.

Hello Jummys69, I have Cubase artist 6.5. In the manual of Cubase 7, it's page p.117
