I've had a Zoom MRT-3b just long enough to be out of warranty but not long enough to have broken already as I've not used the thing very much. I was playing it last night and noticed that when I hit the ride cymbal, the crash cymbal plays/lights up instead. I changed the batteries with new ones, same thing. Everything else works perfectly, and the preset patterns still have the ride cymbal playing where it's programmed to. Would it be cost-effective to try & get it repaired or just replace it? I'm thinking the replacement route is probably the best option - with that said, what rhythm machine at a similar price point is recommended?
