Zoom 1266

How good is the zoom 1266?
I heard that the Drum kit and Bass extras are of very poor quality....
I am purchasing one real soon, but would like some feedback from someone who has experience with it.
The one I ordered is without the cdr (too expensive$$$$)
Should I shop for a cdr at a local circuit city, Best Buy, etc......Or order the USB interface to burn from my PC?

I can't speak for the quality of the drums and bass. Never used this stuff before, so nothing to compare it with. Although I haven't heard any 1266 owners say they were disappointed with the drum/bass quality.

I've got a 1266 and have installed a regular IDE CDRW set for slave. Even comes with the mounting brackets.

I also ordered the USB in case I want to do some editing on the PC. I have heard the audio track files can be imported directly into cool edit pro.

I'd get them both, the CDRW and USB. $80 for the USB and a CDRW on sale for about $30 at a best buy type store.

Enjoy and plan on reading the manual. It's full of features.
