I've punched myself in the side of the head, hit my head with a stick, hell I even threw up on my snare once, but I've never punched myself in the junk. Kudos Sir. :D

You know you're a crap drummer when you can't play better then the drummer for AC/DC or Van Halen. Same basic beats for almost every song. But they are millionaires.

i've knocked my glasses off before during a show,,took 10 min. to find them,, when i did, i noticed that one of the lenses popped out. took an hour to find that. playing a set by feel cause i couldn't see well with 3 roadies on stage looking for my lens.......

I've hit myself on the head a few times too, but how would you smack your balls....? haha

I've hit the singer in the head with flying sticks..................................... oh, no, wait a minute................. that wasn't an accident.

What do you call a guy that hangs around a bunch of musicians?

A drummer! :p

I first heard that joke around 1969. :p

"How do you get a drummer out of your house?"

Pay him for the pizza!

"What do you call a drummer without a girlfriend?"

Homeless!

These are equally old.......... and told over and over again.

...you hit yourself in the balls side-sticking the snare.

That begs the question as to how low and close your snare drum must be. . .

Poked myself in the eye once - during a concert. Not cool.

Yeah it's way low and my set-up is very cramped. It's fine when I'm mindlessly bashing away, but sidestick causes pain.

amen. no one believes me when i say every ACDC song has the same exact beat.

What's your point? Have you listened to how WELL and SOLID that beat is played? THAT'S EXACTLY what good drumming is supposed to be about! If you don't KNOW that, you probably suck as a drummer and just refuse to listen to people.

There's a saying: "Does AC/DC record to a click track?... Yes! His name is Phil Rudd!"

EXACTLY! Thank you! I was too annoyed to bother with a response. The drum parts for those songs are EXACTLY what the parts should be!

I can play "Hot for Teacher". I can play Jeff Beck's "Space Boogie". Same beat, but one's 7/4. I suggest you give either one a try and get back to me.

UMMM!!! OK!!! Ya, I'll give it a try. Maybe if I practice every day I can be half as good as you think you are in a few hundred years. Thanks for the invite. You da MAN

i've seen him play. he is actually better than he thinks he is.

Hey, that's cool. Don't get me wrong, I do like both of the bands I was talking about but I think it is sometimes repetitious. I know it's what the song calls for, but their is little deviation from the norm.

Well, this is almost exactly the reaction I expected.

First you mouth off about two of the most respected drummers in the industry as though you were above them even though they've had accolades for decades, then you make a gross assumption about the talents of someone you've never even heard play.

Yeah, you sound like a seasoned vet!
