huh huh that was fun
thanks for posting link

too bad that you can't asign effects individually to tracks, so you could really make some fun dub-plates there ... also there's only one mouse, and to "really"-dub you gotta have two :p

Uh , good
when you get them aligned , get them out of the computer, record them to four track tape first and then go mixing like a REAL MAN :drunk:

dude i will post a link to the tracks when I get them aligned and exported. you can do whatever you want with them :-) I have hundreds of songs recorded on 2, 4 , 8, 16 and 24 track r2r and casette. I have nothing against digital and a daw if it lets me grab cool stems like this :-)...

I would not do that. Softly speaking it's ain't nice, otherwise speaking it's illegal.

No I can't.

neither do I.
though sometimes, I wish a stem full of sense of humor could be grabable , ...I mean downloadable :laughings:

/good day :)

I dunno about the sense of humor. If it's something I wrote - I sure don't know what to say. I'm not a jerk or anything - I swear haha :-)

Anyway - as to your points (which are good) - Paul put this stuff up on the web on his own site. He knows technology. He is no dummy. He has to know what will happen, and he has to know the type of people who will be all over this shit. For example - I'm not a thief and certainly am not talking about illegal or unethical usage. I am a lifelong Beatles/Paul/John/Ringo and George solo freak/dork/geek. Ram is one of my favorite albums of all time. I spent 5 hours last night going over just the bass line and drums for Monkberry Moon. Working with my different basses/string types, pickup balance, compressor settings, picks, upstroke versus downstroke, foam mute versus palm mutes.

I figured there might be some other people who are interested. But I guess if they are they can do what I did - spend an hour and do it themselves.

Do you hear how the drums sound in Maybe I'm Amazed? Do you think he left uncoded NR on that? I've been trying to get my cymbals, my ride particularly, to sound like that. I had them like that before, but I used a dolby unit left uncoded. Seems impossible any other way. Anybody have any opinion on it?

I haven't listened to that yet. I spent two days on Monkberry Moon alone :-)

I was going to post a link for you to a site with a bunch of Beatle's mogg files but they pulled it down. I don't know if you found that already.

No - I didn't find it :-(
