yet another omni question

I'm not sure what I did wrong. I'm running a delta omni studio into windows 2K and Sonar 2.

Anyways, I had it set up good, but now something's different.

My condensor mic is simply running into input 1 of the omni. I can see the signal registering on the faders and inside Sonar, but no sound from the mic is coming out through the headphones. The playback tracks sound perfect. I just can't hear the recording mic, and I've got the volumes on the omni all the way up.

Any ideas?

I think it may have something to do with the record monitor within the M-Audio control panel...which you can access thru your windows control panel.

I used mine with cubase and nuendo and there were some settings in the programs itself that affected the monitoring of the signal. There should be plenty of information about this in the manual. Definitely check what stealthtech said and look in the m-audio control panel. There's channel strips in the monitor mixer and you must unmute them in order to hear them through the headphones. It's obviously just a monitorting issue if you're getting the track during playback.

Problem solved. It was in the delta control panel. The channels were unmuted, but the faders were not up. People with new deltas make sure to unmute and bring the faders up.

Thanks for the solution stealthtech and frist44!
