Yep. Downloaded one and uploaded it to my server so I can get to it from anywhere.

Cool ..... they are pretty self explanatory just find a preset then hit recall. If there are a bunch of poop user setting just go to factory reset instructions and doit. Then build your own off of the presets.

It's pretty much the same routine fr every type of audio device.

@VESSEL2020

One thing I noticed while looking around for info on the 50D is that a lot of people had dead batteries that were soldered to the circuit board. Is the 90 prone to that problem?

Nope comes right out but I have 4 or 5 with original batteries and have only had to replace one so far.

Are the batteries hard to find or common watch batteries?

um I can't remember ..... they are about the size of a quarter though! I'm sure you can find them on the net but not at your local stores.

There's a local store that specializes in batteries. I bet they'd have it.

Just open up your unit and get the numbers of it and bring those numbers to them.

ONE BIG THING THOUGH! before taking out the battery note and double note which way the + and - goes! Bad Juju to put it back in the wrong way.

You should be able to find the batteries no problem,...I found them at a local dollar store.
Both units have "early reflections",...but the 90 excells a little better at that.
I use some of the SPX units on my synths as well...but as I said earlier, the SPX-50D has somethin' in it equal to a "preamp drive" that the 90 doesn't.
This makes for some very killer driving leads and fat bassey sounds on a synth, with some dirt (dist.) thrown into the mix if you have a synth that does not have built-in
effects.
I run a lot of my synths through my SPX units, and then into analog tape echo units,...and some I just use the tape echos on them, when I'm mixing a pure analog synth with tape echo.

Hi, i'm looking for the "reverse reverb" effect made by the YAMAHA units like the SPX90 or maybe the GEP-50. But the GEP-50 is hard to find around here and the SPX90 is more expensive than the SPX50D that i find easily at a really nice price. It seems the presets i'm looking for are "early reflection" but it also seems those presets are different between the GEP50 (there are 4 "earl ref" )and SPX50 which like the SPX90 has only 2 "earl ref" presets. Can you tell me if the reverse reverbs i'm looking for are in those "earl ref" presets (or is it reverse gate?) and if the "earl ref" presets from the SPX50D and SPX90 are the same (both units are 16 bits but is there a processor or something else difference?).I'd also like to know if it's possible to edit the "earl ref 1 or 2" from the SPX50 so that they sound like the "earl 3 or 4" of the GEP50 if needed.Thanks
