Yamaha Atmosfeel electronics

Anybody have any experience with these? I have seen a few videos and the tech looks like a very nice system from Yamaha. Thinking of purchasing, not on the cheap side, but not crazy price either.

Any feedback is appreciated.

I don’t like any of the samples - direct sounds way to bright and trebly - through the amp sounds like cheap piezo pickups - if that’s what you
want I would go for it - but I want a fuller sound that I can trim to my liking - and this doesn’t do that.

I listened through my Sony headphones. There was a very noticeable difference in the mid/low end response, amp vs. DI.
I have to agree with @Papanate. Too shrill for my taste, but the EQ was set flat (12 o'clock). That would help.
It's also not a cheapo guitar. My Taylor 324ce sounds light years better than that mic'd, mic'd amp (Fender tube w/ 12") and DI, and is about the same price.
If it sounds good to you, have at it. It just isn't my taste.
