hi ive been using he 2816 for a while now but i cannot figure out how to record dynamics of each channel during automation. iF anyone hs worked with this and can help it would be appreciated. Thank you.-

Go to Dinsdale's site for an answer.
I use the 2816 and dynamics can be applied when you do the stereo track -- need to punch in the program you want on the menu screen and then make sure you punch in the track/or stereo track. Also, you need to turn off those channels which you do not want the dynamics to enhance -- check your manual. Or, better yet, check with Dinsdale's new site for 2816.

I had a "senior' moment. Dinsdale's site is for the AW16 by Yamaha. You can find that by searching; it's on page 2 of New Equipment and Reviews.
Although he started the site for AW16 users, you might get a clear answer there.
However, there are sites for the 2816. Do a search here and you can always punch up Yamaha and ask them, even though they take a few days to respond.
