(I kinda' pussed out on the cheap rhyme thing there in the second stanza, eh?) LOL - I promise you, it's not b/c I chicken out on the songs...both of those tunes have already made the rounds here, and I really just needed a few select ears from people who know something about something. It does suck that people get annoyed by the deletions, but I'm pretty sure they're even more annoyed when they see 14 "chrisharris" posts on the front page.


BTW - Both of the people who posted in THIS thread before me helped, and I appreciated it, along with the others. :D :D

AFTER ALL, YOU HAVE TO DELETE THOSE FUCKERS WHEN YOU CAN, OR THEY COME BACK AFTER 6 MONTHS TO HAUNT YOU.

...I think the difference is enormous, but I'm still split on whether it's "good" ... but the posts helped me decide that I AM buying the compressor. It's a lot of money for me to spend on something like this, actually...but I guess I can always EBAY it someday) :D

Anyway, I know you're not really pissed, but just in case anyone is, that's why I do it. Same thing with the mic checks and stuff...I use this place like a $25 whore, but I try to give back when I can :D
 
I especially like it when someone post the same song about 5 or 6 times... but...'maybe' an exception or two... (bass up mix.. vocal up mix... fixed snare mix.... more gtrs mix........)))))))

the 2nd one was smoother and went down easier, yet both are cluttered quite a bit. :)

I like the "old digital" version better.:p

It has more "character". I can see how most people would dig the "new analog" version though. It's really "fat" sounding.

Remember I'm one of those freaks that still has a turntable, and a tube stereo.

The bottom line is if you feel that the tool is required for the job by all means buy that sucker. You don't want to be the guy that gives up on his bodywork job because he's too cheap to buy good DA & straight-line sanders.;)

Yes, you could sand that whole car by hand and make it smooth, but why would you do that when there are power tools available?

I know... harris posted a song in Lt's thread...gets away with it. I post a song in docs thread... get ignored... and I worked HARD on that song. fuckin harris didn't even comment either.. I ain't listening to his shit anymore...
