XP and Audiophile

Planning on getting the Audiophile 2496 to use on XP with Sonar. However, been reading a bit about this card, and have found that seemingly a lot of people have had major problems with XP drivers. Of course, you never hear about those who don't have problems. My question is: Anybody here using this setup? Any problems? Total success?
 
I am using the audiophile on XP with Vegas using the wdm drivers, and with Acid using asio drivers. I have had no problems.
 
I use it with XP...

No problems... Just make sure you understand the M Audio interface in your control panel.... I use the rca's but am loking to find an all digital setup.....
 
I've used the AP2496 on 2 systems, one with XP Home and the other with Pro using Home Studio 2002 (Sonar lite). I've encountered no problems.

It also depends on your system. What do you have? AMD/Intel?
 
my system is as follows.
2.0 ghz pentium 4
256 mb RAM
80 gig hard drive,not sure rpms.

This was about as much as I could afford. I also have a SBLive 5.1 but as far as recording with that thing goes, I might as well not have a card at all. Judging from what I've read, the Audiophile will give me a significant increase in sound quality, and hopefully a significant decrease in latencey. Hey It can't get too much worse, right? Anyway, I don't get the new card till my birthday. My woman is giving it to me, but she's making me wait. I think it's 'cause she knows where all my time will be spent when I do get it.
 
AP and XP should work great for you with almost 0 latency or at least none that I can hear...using Logic Audio.
Its an excellent card for the price;)
 
I use XP & the Audiophile 24/96 with Sonar. No problems using both sets of rca jacks and the SPIDF lines all at the same time.

Running hardware effects pre and post the software and it has been rock solid on a Intel based P4 Asus MB computer.

A few pops and clicks if I set latency too low but I can control the beast if I need to.
