xlr-trs mixer to monitor connection?

Hey,

NOOB ALERT NOOB ALERT

I am currently waiting for a Tascam 2488 and Tannoy reveal 5a active monitors which I have placed on order but, it only just occured to me "what the hell am I going to connect these with?? I checked the specs for each piece of equipment which are:

The Mixer has balanced trs monitor outs and

The reveals have balanced xlr/jack combination ins.

Will trs to xlr give a better connection than trs to jack? ( I'm guessing jack means trs??)

TRS= Tip Ring Sleeve, a type of jack. 3 points of contact, a balenced cable. Differant from an instrument cable which is TS and unbalenced.

TRS to TRS or XLR to TRS should give the same quality theoretically.
