I know some of you have heard some of my beats on soundclick and have givin me feedback n whatnot (and i appriciate it alot) ... but now I gotta question about the individual tracks themselves ...

Im still quite a newbie with this so i know im not even comparable with Mindset or anything :p but i was curious to ask if any of my shyt is marketable, sellable, or worth my confidence even?

I feel that they are very well produced for the equitment i have (which isnt much) and they may even be usable for certain artists if it was done right, but what do you all think?

lol man I'm just one of you guys, just like everyone else. I'll definitely listen to the individual tracks later on tonight and check whats up. From what I hear before, your doing pretty decent, on the right path.

My opinion as an emcee:

The sounds you're using for drums, are pretty standard stuff. I mean, those claps and snares are cheap sounding. Sound like stock sounds from FL or something. I think you need to invest in some good sounds, and you'll be better off than you are now.

The synths on 02 are pretty good, layered well. But again, the drums aren't anything special, they don't stand out.

I think you have potential, but you really need better sound kits than you have right now. Otherwise things get a bit boring.

Just my $.02

im on gcomputer speakers here at work..so i cant really comment on the drums..since i cant really hear them..but i think you need to use different snare hits on your tracks..using the same clap on every track will get boring..and have emcees think your stuff is the same..

you still doin it right..not stop doin what you doin..

Thanks for the feedback guys, any recondmendations on soundkits or anything??

From what I'm listening to, your well on your way. Maybe utilize what we talked about, like reverb, delays on certain instruments, and they should turn into hits real easy.

Like breaking in, you could reverse a sound, send reverb to it, and then switch the sound back around, keeping the reversed reverb. Or using a drum to trigger a sample with a gate. Many programs offer you to tweak each sound etc. There should be sections with the sound that'll allow you to change various aspects of the sample itself. Great work though & keep it up homie

who cares if they are marketable or not, its better to have them on sale n have a chance at someone buyin one, then not havin for sale at all...
