Worst Singer EVER

I don't remeber who it was but it was a smoker singing about smokenazis trying to take his cigs away. Raspy coff coff raspy.
 
OMG come on guys!! My vote goes for that guy from AC/DC.

Some classic songs that can get a party jumping, but that guy's voice is like a cat being sodemized with a lamp.

Oh wait, for good in the studio and sucks live I have to say Tom York from Radiohead.. pitchy

Haven't posted in a while, but had to add to this thread.

That girl who sang for 4-Non-Blondes. Like nails on a chalk-board.

I have seen interviews with some of the younger female pop performers and some of them worship her. She contributed heavily to some stuff Pink was working on.

Blows my mind that anyone could stomach her voice.
 
Billy Corgan

With absolutely no doubt in the world it has to be The pretentious jackass from smashing pumpiks Billy Corgan. Quit singing through your nose dude! "despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage?" - FAIL!
 
Ani deFranco is also insufferable.

Billy Corgan doesn't bother me much. His voice reflects the name of his band... a manifestation of pubescent angst. Nasal. Winey. I would never buy his albums, but I always appreciate truth in advertising.

:o I think that there may be many who are a lot worse out there, though. I know a few people (not famous by any means) who are tone-deaf. There are a lot of little punk-emo bands that I heard on a Warped Tour comp. cd. They weren't too good, either.

Lots of people say Danny Filth is crap, but I like him just fine. So there! :p

Whoever said J Mascis nailed it, awful voice, amazing guitar player. Billy Corgan has a one-trick-pony voice that got more annoying the more albums they put out...and IMHO Glenn Danzig's voice is really distinctive and fits perfect for their sound...

Ian Brown-The Stone Roses- that guy is totally tone deaf, saw him play last week and was embarrassed for the guy, made me feel better about my singing though

A lot of you people are missing the point of this thread. It's not about which vocalist you think sucks, It's which vocalist sounds good on the record and sounds like shit live. It's not a who do you hate the most thread. I saw dave mustaine and the dude from korn mentioned on the front page. Both of you guys are wrong. I've seen both of them live (not a fan of either btw) and they emulate there cd performances quite well (regardless whether I like there voices or not).

dude that's exactly who i was thinking of, the appearance i'm thinking of is when they did the Aerosmith tribute deal on MTV "sweet emotion" that had to be the most horrid thing i've ever saw...

I have to vote for Yoko Ono, although I don't really consider what she does to be singing - it's more of an interpretive art form consisting mostly of a squeeking sound. Anyway, it hurts my ears. I'm glad John found love though.

Glen Danzig was the original Lead singer for the Misfits, Jerry Only was the bassist/backups. The lead singer of The Misfits now is Jerry Only. Glen Danzig is now the singer for Danzig. I believe that Jerry Only is now the Lead singer for The Misfits after the mid 80's.
