dobro! Don't even put that kind of cosmic karma out there for me damnit!!! I have to eat, and 13 hour demo's are not gonna cut it!
Actually, I DO in fact listen to what people have to say about the mixes. I may not change the way I mix the song in question, especially if what you are hearing is a final mix, but if it is push mixes, certainly I consider opinions, and some I even use. Usually though, others comments show me where I need to go with TRACKING in the future.

All processing at mix was via the Yamaha O2R console, even the reverb, except a little Pitch Shift thingy I use from an Eventide Harmonizer. Please don't ask for details about eq/compression/etc......except I will say I end up using the O2R's Compander processor a lot usually. When set right, it works more or less like a ultra clean expander/gate/compressor. The 13 hours I spent on this was between two 6.5 hour days, and the second day, I recorded all the vocals/mixed/mastered the whole thing, so really, it was all a blur!
Oh, this was mixed to DAT at 16 bit via the SPDIF outputs on the O2R to
a Tascam DA 30. Mastering was via
QMetric and
the L1 Ultramaximizer using Wavelab.
