Yeah, it allowed me to that time, I made quite a long post and it doesn't like it for some reason, just gives a cannot display page when I try it, seems to like these little posts though.

I just managed it by splitting my large post into 3 smaller ones (one a=original and 2 replies), check it out =)

Yeah, it has been doing that off and on for years. I get around it by shortening my post until it accepts it. Then I click EDIT and turn it into a longer one.
For a while, I thought it had something to do with the title line being a duplicate, but still not sure.
