You write, he write, she wright even a few animals have been credited for writing songs so why I should anyone want to listen to or give your songs a chance?
More and more of us are competing for the same thing or are we?
What makes your song worth me and Joe Websurfer giving it a listen?
this is a co-thread to why listen to t5he final product :)

OH OH OH Yes honor thy Momma and all that. Do you want to change the world? on the co-thread one of the first links lead to a Xtian (no disrespeckals intended) message at least that is what I expect from the title and I split before the song unloaded. I guess some people write songs as a way of trying to influence your life and indeed your very soul.
I hate the "I am so deep because I noticed it was raining raing raing songs"

What's a co-thread?

And, HEY! I like songs about rain! :)

I'd say most of us don't get listened to unless we perform live. Those who seek us out are those who get tired of music quickly, and always want more. Its a good thing they're out there!

A co-thread is a closely related thread like this one and the Why question thread going on in the "Cave"

I like listening to people's songs because I am a nerd and I like to hear how people's recordings have turned out. You know, the people not signed by Pepsi Records or Virgin Airline Records or whatever.

It's just fun really and there's no worth in my particular songs, I suppose people listen to them for fun, or to see how people's recordings have turned out

People should listen to my songs because if they don't, I'll have to get a real job debugging printer drivers for Brady Corp.

I REALLY do not want to do that... at all.
