This thread makes me all warm and fuzzy (like cheap toob gear). I think all your menstrual cycles are synchronized now.

Your Behringer base belongs to fools.

Don't ever make comment about litercy, it took me years and when I was in grade 3 I finally could read enough to pass.

And I am not a prickly little fucker as you put it, I listen to everyones opinions no matter of their age or who they are, I have learned amazing things from my students who have never touched a drum in their life.
My suggestion would be that if you can't take comments on your spelling, you should either run through a spell-checker before posting .... or don't post. I'm not being nasty when I say I couldn't care less either way - in the real world, people don't have to walk on egg-shells around you!!!! BTW - I have no idea how old grade 3 is because I'm not in America, but I have no reason to think any less of you for it either way. You're probably dyslexic or something, which is a real enough problem that people sadly have to learn to live with.

Other than that, I forget what your point was now ... but I know from watching these kinda forums that when a beginner tells a highly experienced pro that he's wrong, the second guy tends to disagree fairly strongly. :)

I sure would like to hear some audio from the Behringer bashers here.

I would like to hear songs that you did using other gear that cost the same.

That would be interesting to hear. Yup, it would.

Somehow though, I don't think I am going to hear much that is impressive. ;)

I only own 3 Behringer products,
UltraDyne 9024 Multiband Compressor-Limiter-Gate-Peak Limiter
Eurorack MX1804X Mixer
DI Box

The mixer really sucks. I really didn't know any better and was on a tight budget. I replaced it with a SoundCraft. The Behringer Mixer is at the bottom of one of my closets.

I still use the DI box and I think it's great.

The best is my UltraDyne 9024. This thing is great. Before I downloaded their editor program, I really didn't know how to program it. I love this box. I use it when I am playing live and in the studio. It's been discontinued and the editor program will not work on Windows XP. I use my laptop that still has Win2000.
I would never replace this thing. I purchased the optional Digital in and out board as well.

Here is one on ebay:

That right there is my #1 COMPLAINT about Behringer!!!

Thier mixers are the absolute worst!!!!

Really? I mean, I use a UB802 between my Lynx One soundcard and Hafler P3000 amp.

I mixed this in Sonar with the UB802 between the soundcard and power amp. I recorded the distorted rhythms via my JStation going into the UB802, but, the electrics sort of got buried in the mix by request of the client. Now, if the Behringer mixer is the WORST, then this mix should sound really crappy! It doesn't, so, I guess the Behringer isn't so bad really.

I played the guitar solo and electric guitars on this one, a JStation running into the line in of the UB802, then into the soundcard (did it this way so that I could use the Aux Send to the soundcard, and be able to adjust my monitoring volume seperate). I got quite a few compliments about the guitar tone! Ran thru a cheap ol' Behringer mixer! I guess it should have sucked more, but it didn't! ;) Chris Harris mixed this one, so send HIM your mix comments. ;)

Really guys, you can talk shit, but you can't back it up very well because, well, I am posting all this great sounding audio where I used Behringer gear!

I don't care if George Massenburg raises Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and Jerry Garcia from the dead, and records them on a Victrola in a hog rendering plant, I'm still not gonna use Behringer! :p

You don't have to. Nobody said you did. BUT, if you are one of the chumps talking smack about it being so "inferior" to other gear in the same price range (or more expensive for that matter), well, I am here to tell you different. And I BACK my smack with the goods!

;)

Actually, I'm not. I just think this is a really fun thread.

I'm sorry Ed, but there some inherent noise on the vocal tracks no doubt to the weak perf of the U-suck-B802 (around 1:11). The UB's poor perf'ming EQ is apparent due the mid-rangy sound of the git (1:53).
Overall, it's a nice song, but would sound wayyyyyyyyyy better if you used either a Mackie, a Alesis, Yamaha or even a Nady!!! ;)

Yeah, just what I thought, you didn't even listen to it. ;)

This IS a funny thread. There have been more people posting how happy they are with Behringer than those that listed their "woes". :D

Pay him no mind & believe me, he's NO @sshole!

I've listened to the stuff he's posted. I have no idea who he is, but he definately has chops, which is why I do pay him mind. He's still an asshole though, but I mean that in the best possible sense of the word. Any asshole who can back it up is OK in my books. :D

Yo' sonus, I DID listen to it! It's really a great song but the U-suck-B802 ruins the whole production! ;)

BTW, I gave you some rep-luv you pain-in-'da-@ss! :D

Sorry guys about all that but I just hate people who are caught up in themselves and feel as if they have to make comments about peoples ages in a negative way.

LOL...Having a LOT of EXPERIENCE in this, I have notice that ONLY the young are bugged by that kind of thing! ;)

You don't really mean you HATE people do you? HATE. That's a very strong word to use!! :(

Now if you said you HATE Behringer mixers, then I would totally understand! ;) :o
