Why must my mono songs become converted to "stereo" on cd

Mr. Minister, can I ask you if that worked. I'm sort of kind of bringing up my girlfriend's 6 year old daughter during the week, since my girlfriend works a lot more hours than me. I sometimes find myself lost as to how to be with her. She calls me "Daddy" but knows I'm not her Father. I'm a little soft on her because I find her one of the most interesting and lovable human beings I've ever met. But, she tries to see what the limits are, and I have trouble being taken seriously when I need to draw the line.

You should post your tunes in the MP3 Clinic too.

You're never gonna develop a fan base in The Rack section. :D

I think he'll have exactly as many fans in the Rack section as in the mp3 Clinic.

What the hell? This breaks the entire premise of the thread.

Lots of clipping, digital distortion and sibilance is all I can hear. You kind of sing like the old man that is in love with Chris on Family guy.

Let someone else record your stuff.

Get a singer.

This is much better than the last one, but there's so much digital distortion it's hard to listen to.
 
1/2 mono is mo, on or no depending on you political persuasion.

Now you have a lot of toys, or recording gear to play with and you've had your first big play to get the newness out of your system get some structure going so that you can learn how to use the stuff and present an album that has more than digital distortion/clipping as its common thread. You may find a better response to some effort rather than the myspace slacker audio diary you've presented - besides it'd be fairer to you song ideas to try to develop them and put them in a setting & context that exists beyond you - not that there's anything wrong with purely personal expression for and of one self - but you do insist on sharing.
You should remix the entire "album" in mono to be true to your original premise. You could equivocate and slowly broaden the sound stage as you progress through the "album" or the reverse in fact ending with a big bang of sonic onanism in monochromatic monoaural reality (as heard by Brian Wilson).
Is Mickey your middle name? Someone seems to have stolen it a few times in this thread.

I just dropped by to ask if anyone has bothered to call the SPCA yet?

I'm fairly sure some animals died in unbelievably cruel ways to produce some of the sounds I just forced myself to suffer through on these tracks.

BTW Jordan, you owe me exactly 3.36 minutes of my life I now seriously want back. And I want it before the rest of your brain is completely liquified.

1. A real genius never walks around spouting how brilliant he is.

2. A true artist never brags about how talented he is.

You are basically doing both. What should that tell you?

The only think this will change is it will show people that some drugs are just very, very bad and do horrible, horrible things to the brain.

On a whim I thought I'd do some investigating so see if this really was a hoax thread. It reminds me of the kind of dedication to a hoax like when we had "Queepie" around. (Anyone remember THAT?) Now THAT was some serious sustained effort.

I checked his profile and went to his myspace page.


This guy is...(guiver)....REAL!!!!

And the people who are telling him he's great are the friends at his myspace page. The majority of which look like the type that weren't allowed into any Grateful Dead concerts on the grounds their drug use was "too heavy".
