Why is so unequable the recorded guitar strip?

Chill out, man. I said I have no problem with it. I was joking. Not that I know what the hell you're talking about. Whatever you say.....Venndi :D

German, huh? Well, that explains your incredible sense of humor.

:D

And I thought I had a knack for pissing people off, I bow to you RAMI:D

I'd be proud if this was a few months ago and I actually meant to piss someone off. But I'm making a serious effort to be a good person and not piss anyone off and it has still happened a couple of times lately, both times when I was clearly joking around. I even swallowed my pride and apologized, even when an apology wasn't really warranted, just to keep the peace.

It could only mean a couple of things. Either my humor just bites too hard, which I find hard to believe. Or, the world has bred a new generation of whiny, Iphone gazing, robots who have no concept of humor and aren't able to just chill out and enjoy life.

I'm so glad I'm able to enjoy life while others around me take everything, including themselves, way too seriously. :)

I go with choice # 2, life is too short, (now that I turned 50 last year) to deal with bull shit all the time, sitting on the porch watching the horses eat is my new addiction.

You got horses? That's awesome.

Yep, the horse in my profile pic is my big baby Buster, he is 8. My buddy has 2. I like him better than most people, lol.
Very cool. I feel the same way about my cats. I lost one cat last year and it was literally the most devastating thing I've ever gone through in my life. I was depressed to the point of thinking about suicide. I wasn't contemplating it, but I definitely thought about it. Got to the point that I realized I don't have the guts to kill myself, but I was hoping I'd just wake up dead one morning. I ain't braggin', but it's true. I loved that cat and love the cats I have more than I've ever loved any human being.

Cat's are cool man.
I lost my cat last year. She was 18 and I'm 28 so that kinda puts in perspective. I've got some absolutely top mates but I haven't known any of them for over, maybe, 10 years.

Real shock to the system losing a long-term pet.

Man, that's sad. You pretty much lost a life-long companion.

My situation was a bit different. He was only 2 years old. It's a different kind of hurt because it was like losing a friend too soon. It's like, which is sadder? Losing your wife of 50 years, or losing your new bride of 2 months? They're both devastating as hell in different ways. This guy was like a close buddy. He was as affectionate and playful as a puppy. One day we were playing, the next day, he's dying in my arms at the vet and I'm balling in the vet's office like a 5 year old. It will always mark me.

Jesus, that is hard. Sorry to hear it man.
I know what you mean about long-term/short-term. It's a fair point, alright.

Cats can be real snooty bastards and I get why some people don't like them, but Max was surprisingly loyal.
One of those cats that'll follow you everywhere and always want to be in on whatever you're doing.

I recently realised that one year has passed. I would have sworn blind it was a matter of months!

don't feel bad, I did the same thing when I had to put down a dog several years ago, she was my heart. I was holding her when the vet gave her the shot, I went to pieces. never will get totally over it.

That's cool.

I know some people kinda smirk when a guy has cats....as though only gahy guys are allowed! :D

We've always had cats in my family since I was kid (a couple of dogs too)....and I've personally had a few cats over the years that would be considered "my" cats. Cats are just a lot easier IMO to live with indoors, and they can handle spending the day without me.

Right now I have two indoor cats, and last year a stray came around, so I brought her to the vet, the whole nine yards....and she now spends the winter in the front foyer, closed off from the other two, since they won't get along....then she's outside for the summer, and just camps out by the front door. She was abandoned in the neighborhood and starving when she showed up.

The two indoor cats I've had for 16 and 12 years now.....the older one a male cat, I got from a Humane Shelter.
I am so attached to them and they to me.
The younger on is a female tabby, and she showed up one day at my doorstep 12 years ago, and pretty much just walked in all friendly like she belonged there, and stole everyone’s heart. Like you, I will be devastated when she goes one day. I love that cat.

These cats follow me around the house...when I go to the studio, they both come down to hang out, and they have their spot up on top of one of the audio racks....and they will stay there the entire time I'm working.
Only drums will make them leave. :p

So I can understand that man-to-animal connection you are talking about. I cried like a baby when my previous two cats died....one back in 1990 and the other in 1998.

I think people don't get cats. They think they're not affectionate, but the truth is that they're more like humans than dogs are. Dogs will love you all the time any time, cats will show some love and then slither off and do their own thing. But that's exactly how we are as humans. A 3 year old kid will come give you a hug for a few minutes, but then they'll slither out of your arms after a few minutes and do their own thing just like a cat. A human kid doesn't stay in your arms forever the way a dog does. If a 3 year old kid is playing with their toys and you call them over, you might have to call 3 or 4 times before they leave what they're doing to come over. Cats are more like that than dogs are.

We're just selfish and want that cat to cuddle with us for hours, so we'll say they don't show love. They're just not stupid enough to be trained. I love dogs, too, don't get me wrong. But people don't get cats. Cats show love in a different way.

One of my beloved wiener dogs is very old. She's still kicking pretty well, but I know in the next few years I'm probably gonna have to put her down. I'm really hoping she just peacefully dies in her sleep. I'll bury her in the backyard. I don't wanna make that last drive to the vet.

Norman the Wonder Cat in now 15. Arthritis and diabetes. I'm dreading the quickly approaching day when he passes. I'm also worried about Nell the Psycho Bitch. She's was adopted as a feral, and will have nothing to do with people unless it's dinner time. She loves Norman.

Christ, maybe we should ask them to bring back "Jenni's Place". This is turning into a real bromance. :)

Rami, I'll cuddle with you all day long.
It's like an episode of Dr. Katz (not many people know that show. It was on in the 90's and I always seemed to catch an episode when I'd get home from a gig at 4am) Anyway, Dom Irrera was always on it and he'd always talk about 2 straight guys being secure enough in their manhood to be able to cuddle, etc.....Funny as shit. I watched every episode of every season on Youtube the last couple of months. Check out a few minutes of this:
