Why is my DMP3 the loudest thing ever?

Holy crap, an SM57 on a marshall cab: I had the gain knob all the way at counter-clockwise at "zero" and it was almost clipping on my soundcard input. I had a c414 running through the second channel and it clipped so badly i had to run it through my mackie instead because it doesnt have as much gain. Anyone else experiencing this?????

That's what the Hi/Lo gain button is for. To set the gain lower so you have control over the little beast.

1) push the hi/low gain button in
2) push the low cut button in
3) adjust gain to desired level
4) enjoy the sweet tones of the DMP3

It is DEFINETLY in low gain mode, is it a hot pre for you guys too?

Would I be able to bring a DMP3 back from the US and use it in the UK? Will the US ones work at 220-240v?
