Sorry but it seems to be stating the obvious since most people are home based recording.... Why do you post your whole composition with changes, breakdowns and all. You do ofcourse realize that buy changing the soundcard recording input to wav/midi/cd that anyone can steal your beats by simpling listening to them. Kinda like tape recording. And so can soundclick legally. Nothing is for free.

Just wondering

everyone wants to steal your beats! run for the hills!

That's why you need to voicetag your music with a loud voiceover and a ghost track.

Copyright it first, then post it. You want to do that anyway if you are serious about the song you wrote.
Then you can take their sorry ass to court when they steal it.

and you do realize if your music is copywritten you can take them to court...anywayanyone can steal your music no matter what you do it..tag or no tag..their are people out that that could redo your whole beat just by listenin to it..plus nothin on the net is safe,,you can download anything if you know how...alot of people use soundclick cause its free and you can load all the mp3s you want..and it gets tons of hits everyday..

as for puttin up whole songs..whats wrong with that...you might find someone that like it and wants to use it vise you keep doin the track over and over cause they didnt like the breakdown at 1:35 but its just how you feel...and lot of folks just go there to listen to others to see how much talent is really out there that dont get a break...just my 2cents..

I've used soundclick. You can't hold onto those beats forever.... why not let somebody feel them? Copyright your songs for sure, but if somebody's gonna steal em their gonna steal em. F%#$ em.
I've got a pistol named karma.

if somebody wants to release a song with a beat that is encoded in 128k mp3 form then more power to them. we all know nobody is going to listen.
