we don't need rest!!
and used mics and where can you hear it?
...sorry...maybe wrong forum (but I did say the word "mic"!), but it is at the top of the page.

so...who has good music recorded in their home/project/bedroom-other den studio??

I'd like to hear some from some of the regulars here...and those *not so regular* (not as in a bran diet, please)

That question is impossible to answer.

First of all, it's based on opinions.

Secondly, some of the people sing great, but have so-so mics... while others don't sing as well, but use great mics.

aww...c'mon. Of course music is about opinions. I am just asking, anyone here have what might qualify as killer quality recording (and hopefully playing too!)...BUT...done in their own studio. I'm more interested in hearing some of the people who post here rather than taking a walk thru MP3.com.....ka peesh??

I guess I'll wander over to the MP3 forum after awhile......zzzzz

I have the best music here. That's why I never post it. I wouldn't want to give the rest of the guys an inferiority complex. With an alias like Elvis Hendrix, what would you expect.

You talk about killer quality recording. Well, sonusman has recorded some stuff at what I would describe (if I was you) as killer quality. But I thought the music he recorded was less important than the level of recording quality.

So, mixmaker, you wanna talk about music, or recording of music?

Seriously?

Mr. Lip "WAIT" is really good. That "BOO" project of Dr.Stawls is fun to listen too, but it's not a microphone song (other than drums, I guess). As for sonusman, I've only heard the synth thing he put out about two months ago. (speaking of which, post your site, sonusman!)

I don't think we'll know how each of us sounds until the comp CD comes out.

dobro..I'd like to talk about the recording of music...figure this is probably the wrong place to critique music, itself. I'm interested in hearing the *new* Alan Parsons of the BB here.

sonusman...yeah..what's your link to listen?

oh..btw, I'd be glad to take this topic to another forum, but wasn't to sure which one would be best. It seemed that the mp3 clinic had a lot of people needing help and having a lot of unfinished stuff their...albeit, some was really good. anyway..open for suggestions

I agree completely!
WAIT is not just a good recording, it's a GREAT song! I was totally blown away by it!

I agree... "Wait" is awesome... I'd like to hear a whole album from Mr. Lip.

Anyway...
Ok, mixmkr, you've forced me into this shameless self-promotion. ;)

Click on the green Lifesaver for the tunes. The whole CD was done on a Korg D8. See what you think...

My stuff sucks, but it's all done with mics...

Check out "Stones and Blood"...all ribbon mics except for a U87 on the dobro. Vox are M500's through a Leslie mic'ed with an RCA 44BX...

I have the best...a K-tel mister microphone....dreams of stardom...on the road...at home....you bet....:)
