who can tell me about this Altec Lansing mic??

this one is a model #650B, cardioid dynamic.
it even has a roll-off switch on it....no idea of the slope or freq.

aquired for 0$ with my other "great" find!!

cheapie vocal mic from the 70's?

Have you tried it? My guess would be that it's crap, but you have to try it!

of course I tried it. It sounds like a typical mid priced vocal mic..the EV's etc. I can't give a better description than that however. I thought the roll off switch was unique on this "ball style" mic, however.

btw...love your optimism!!
