Which way to rotate capsule of a Cardioid Condeser Electret Overhead Mic?

Hahaha nice pic witzendoz! Ok, so I will continue to do what I have been doing...If I am mic'ing in stereo X-Y pattern, then I'll be pointing the tip of the mic towards to sound source.

Harvey, are your SURE it's a front address mic? Also, why in the world does this mic have those cutaway things? Can't help but wondering...

And I agree the side bits seem a bit odd- polar symmetry wise.

It's just that rappers are the main culprits of the missuses of proper microphone technique.
