I want to buy a mic and connect it to
my PC sound card and not spend a ton
of money. I'm assuming combining a
dynamic mic with a pre-amp would be
cheaper than any condenser mic option,
so the question is, what kind of decent pre-amp can I get for 50-100 bucks? (I
assume a mixer is impossible at that price.)
One option I've found is the 3-input ST-MMX3
from Radio Design Labs, with a list price of
about $120. Any comments?
