I believe so but I'd have to check as the neck on LP has been through a few changes over the years. For the record "slimmer", "faster", whatever, are relative terms. I've found that the neck profile is more important than the actual dimensions. A neck that is 17mm deep at the first fret can feel slower than one 19mm if the section and finish, fret dress and timber are different. The only way to get it nailed is to play lots and go for what feels right. I often have a customer handle the neck after I've done the rough profile in the white, especially if I've been asked to copy an existing profile. You'd be amazed how much is down to the balance of the guitar and the profile/section rather than the "actual" dimensions. Just the way the thing sounds dictates how you attack it.....
