Which effect do I use to create harmony guitar lines on BR-800. Pitch shifter????????? I am a total newbie at recording.

Why don't you try playing the part twice? It's more important to do things like that, and get good at doing that, then to start fiddling around with harmonizers and stuff. Go ahead and experiment, but concentrate on getting a good track down.

If you want the effect of a pitch shifter, then use a pitch shifter, but that's what it's going to sound like. If it has one, that is. And you'd need it to be able to harmonise, via knowing what key you're in etc. Not sure you get one of those in your box.
If you want harmony guitar lines that sound like harmony guitar lines, use a guitar and play harmony, is my advice....
