Which cable for specific job.

I have a question about cables, i searched this but did not find what i was looking for so hopefully one of you guys with the knowledge can teach me what i need to know.

I need cables for 3 applications, and im not sure what type of cables to get, Patch cables, insert cables etc etc.
Below is what i need to connect.

KRK RP6 monitors (balanced XLR Female and TRS 1/4" inputs) to Roland VS2400 (TRS 1/4" monitor outs)

MC909 Groovebox (TRS 1/4" mix outputs) to Roland VS2400 (TRS 1/4" track inputs)

POD XT (TRS 1/4" outputs left & right) to Roland VS 2400 (TRS 1/4" track inputs)


Any info will be very helpfull, thanx guys

then all you need is TRS cables for all those. They'll be cables that have connectors that look like a headphone connector....with two black rings.

Thanx for the reply, im aware of the actual connections i need but what id like to find out is what cable type as there are so many eg. Patch cables, insert cables, instrument cables, and they all can have TRS 1/4", now i think i need studio cables not instrument cables, but is there a specific type i need for each of those jobs? and they only need to be under 1 meter in length.

I think you'll find most instrument cables are TS not TRS.

Any TRS cable will you do..
