I have made 5 xlr cables with canare this weekend and love how well they work. my store bought cable seems muffled and dulled by comparison. So I am going to take a stab at making a few instrument cables as well, but not sure if I should get the w2497 or w2524. From what i've gathered the 2524 is a bit easier to work on, but are there any benefits to using the thicker 2497?
