Where should I put the console/daw?????????

Ok I have a chance to either put my console in the center of room or against a wall.Either seems to be ok.Wall maybe alittle better.Maybe not?The room is only 10x8,but is in the shape of a stretched out octagon.I also have a sub which is quite tough to get just right in this room.Any ideas?

In the center but nearer one end of the long section of the room. I say in the center cos 1.)it's easier to get behind it to fix and repatch things. 2.) cos if you deaden the area behind you will get a good stereo spread and retain the room symetry.
