Where is your studio located?

Mine's mostly in the living room and dining area. I'm gonna throw some rockwool panels up in the 2 bedrooms soon and start using those.

Yesterday there was a piece of paper stuck in my mailbox flag from Universal Studios saying they would have low flying helicopters and "loud & unusual sounds" over the next few weeks while they are filming some "Battleship" movie. They just got finished with Hawaii 5-0 and some tv show called "Off the Map".

It beats having condos back there.

I actually have a TON more gear that isn't in use.
Several vintage tape echos, and a couple other synths, mixers, reel to reels, & effects.

There is gear in every room of my apt.,...including the kitchen!

I'm not too good with computer recording,...but as soon as I get the hang of it,...I'd definitely like to do a little collaboration with ya.

Like say,.. send you an "embryo track",...then you can paint over it,..then send it back,..and then I'll...(I'm sure you're gettin' the picture)

Really dig the stuff you got goin' on!

My studio-ish thing is evolving in a spare bedroom. I have an unfinished basement, but I'm not big on spending time underground, don't know why. When I got this place 2 years ago I had plans to build a shop down there to work on models. Never happened, interesting I talked to my Dad who actually made a model building area in his basement, and he said he never uses it. I know if I put this in the basement it will go unused.

Utility Room (Gas Boiler, Fridge, Washing Machine) with Padding on walls and ceiling for recording vocals and bedroom for recording guitars and laying Drum tracks etc

Cheap Trick
Go to Harbor Freight Tools and get some of those black padded moving blankets
They work excellent for sound deadening devices for spare bedroom/garage /utility room studios.

I am in the Army and have a huge basement inmy quarters where I have set up my studio. Not too long from now we are building our dream home in the Adirondack mountains on a lake...studio with a view in the basement!!!
