I have the control room which consists of my desk, laptop, toneport, and mixer in my closet, kinda crammed, but I like it, its like I have another room within my room.
I do drum and vocal tracking in my bedroom, have a ghetto vocal booth from memory foam, doesn't sound bad.

I'm in a spare room, but it's not a spare room anymore... it's a guitar/studio room. It's located above the garage, so when the garage door gets put up or down, the room shakes. No jumping or playing around is aloud, the floor is kinda weak and has the truss ceiling (except it's all insulated and theres drywall). It's pretty nice, especially because I have it all to myself.

In a wooden hut on top of a giant chicken's claw which hops around inside a circle of wooden stakes, topped with children's skulls.

Dr. V

Can I get the blue print plans for that ?
sounds like a very acoustically tight environment.

Mainly my 2 kids bedroom, that's where the drums always get done. I use every other room for tracking, depending on what time it is, who's asleep and what's being recorded. The tiled loo and bathroom are good for acoustic guitars..I have to utilize every little nook and cranny that I can.

I Flipped a room that was extended on to the house

I was fortunate to buy a house that had been extended on one end and so I took a pretty large room and converted into my baby of a studio. The wife helped me finish it out and I love the sound I get out it. :D

here is a link to videos of the construction - Studio

Gonna put up a completed look video soon.

Just like any other room in the house, except all my toys are in here.:D

my is in my bed room, theres not much of a bed room left but thats were it is

2x2x2 meter, tiled floor untreated echo chamber spare bedroom/ broom closet

I have a closet-y area that spans the length of my room. It has 2 doorways, but no doors. I hope to do something cheap with that in the future and somehow shield it from the rest of the room

Our studio is on a loft, in the house to the father of my friend and studiomate, pitched wooden roof. So very nice sound! And luckily the neighborhood aren't to angry about the noise! The father is neither;)

converted 2-car garage:
sealed up, laid wood floors and some acoustic treatment

I am lucky enough to have an awesome girlfriend who has allowed me the entire upstairs of our small house. On top of that, when we were looking at houses, she settled for this one when she preferred another because this one had the better studio space.

I voted spare room.

I love that two people have studios supposedly in their bathrooms?!
