I'm programming drums using Drumkit from hell 2 and Cubase as a sequencer and...

...I can't find the MIDI file. In the project folder are "Audio" and "Images" subfolders and they are both empty... But when I load the project everything is fine and the MIDI file is loaded properly and is named "drum MIDI"...

So I ask you smart people - Where is the goddamn MIDI file?

i don't think it creates MIDI files the same way it creates audio files when you record them. I believe it's all saved with your main session file. I think most programs are like this until you actually export to a MIDI file

Benny is right, most programs will "embed" the midi files within the project file, mostly because midi files are very very small (kilobytes). Since the Audio Files are so large, they have to be stored separately.

I prove to myself I'm too lazy once again... :) File -> export -> MIDI file...

Thanx!
