I had this unit a while back and regret selling it. i remember having this chart that showed the time settings, warm rooms, hard surface rooms, etc. Well, i may win another off i ebay, and would like one of those charts again for reference. pdf won't work for me here. If I can get it in html that would be great.

If you'd like to e-mail
the program chart in pdf form, i'll get to a computer eventually and print it. thanx.

PM me your email address, I printed and rescanned them to monochrome bitmap, I can send 'em once I get the addy.

Glad it worked out for ya, good luck with the auction!

I use the Microverb4 and love the hell out of it. Oddly enough, I use the 3630 too. Even setup in my rack like the picture on eBay lol. I can't say that I'm impressed with the 3630, but it has its uses. I don't use much rack gear anymore since I jumped on the PC based bandwagon, but I'm still using a mixing board and a few random pieces here and there for mixdown to my cd burner. I'm in the process (SLOW process at that) of piecing together the setup I'm going to stick with for as long as possible (for what I do anyway) Going with 2 M-Audio Delta 410 PCI soundcards, Yamaha 16/4 board, Microverb4 on one of the effect loops and I'd ideally like to have atleast 8 channels of compression but Plug-ins in my recording software seem to be working fine for now. I do want an Alesis EQ though!

i read up a little here and there about the 3630 and it was pretty much all good. What specifically doesn't it do well? I just sold a presonus comp16 because the/every first vocal signal after a bit of silence didn't seem to compress. that's attack time i guess. i guess i won't be heartbroken if i lose that auction. just need a no frills compressor.

Don't get me wrong, it does what it's suppose to do but it just doesn't jump out at me so to speak. I can't really say anything bad, but I can't really say anything good either, and I don't know enough of the lingo and jargon to express in words what I mean lol. Would I recommend it? As far as doing the job fairly decent, yes. Would I rather have an RNC or two? YES!

Do a search, the 3630 is considered pretty bad for its price point . I assume that alot of the bashing is from people who have never actually used one but there are enough "qualified" ears out there who say its not even good as a paper weight. If it gets the job done for you though, thats all that really matters. Just know that there are alot better options out there for the same amount of money. RNC being one of them.
