Hey, you might remember me from a while ago asking about equipment, well I got the MobilePre USB audio interface (2 XLR inputs, 2 1/4" inputs, 1 1/4" input), simple interface. Anyways, upon using it, it works really well, there's no latency issues or anything, and the sound is great, but it only records onto the left side of my monitors (if that makes any sense). In reading the manual, it says I should plug one side into the 1st input and the one side into the 2nd one, but you can only plug one cord into the pick-up of a guitar. So, I was guessing the solution to this would be to make the input mono instead of stereo, but how do I do that?

Any other suggestions on how to remedy the situation and get the sound in both sides would be appreciated.

Oh, and I'm using Adobe Audition as my recording software (it's the new Cool Edit Pro).

Use a Y-cord. Get one at Radio Shack or equivalent so you can record on both tracks.

OR pan the single track to the center so it'll play back L+R.
