Whatsa Shure 517SB mic?

I'm looking at a for-sale ad for 4 of these mics. Are they any good for recording? What applications?

I believe that's the mic they use at fast food drive throughs to take orders. Seriously. The B model is the low impedence version (the A is hi Z).

Yeah I just found the pdf in the Shure Discontinued product list. At $35 apiece, used, they're probably overpriced anyway. Thanks!
