 Uh... I didn't have it in my hands but why am I going blind? :o

From my last session (5 quick songs, 10 hours...  ) =

Neumann U 87 (Vox)
BLUE Baby Bottle (vox...the studio just got that one in, and for its price-$600-it sounds like a mic twice as expensive...Highly recommend one)
Two AKG 414's (Guitar)
3 SM57's (Snare top/bottom/hats)
Sennheiser 421 (guitar cab, and kick far)
Audix D-6 (Kick in, shoved up close to the batter head)
Two AKG C451's (overheads)
Three Shure PG56's (toms, worked OK...Not too thrilled about them)

Got a new Neumann TLM 103

Will be using tomorrow for the first time

It was in the studio I was in today so I thought I better touch it for the purposes of this thread. :)

Beyer M160 for me, it came yesterday. Smaller than I expected. Never used one before, just seen pictures. I was really surprised how little it is!

Smaller than I expected.

No kidding. I bought the M130 locally, from a music store that has a studio attached. The owner insisted that I take the mic out of the box so he could see how small it was. Then we went next door to the studio, where he a '40's RCA 44Jr ribbon on a shelf: it was the size of a (landline) telephone, with an attached cable.

Used EV RE20, CAD M179, and Nady RSM2 today. Also messed with the placement of my SM57 on the snare...oh, and chessrock's snake mic again.

How many times do we have to tell Chessrock not to name his snake?

Beyer M640N that I just made cables for. Plugged it up and the mic and the cables worked. I'm Happy. Now I gotta find something the mic sounds good on.
