What's the best-sounding guitar DI interface?

I know squat about "modelers", but don't forget Sansamps. They get pretty high reviews by a couple of folks.

Don't forget Harmony Central! :)
 
I can blow away any direct in recording with my hundred dollar Digitech Pedal. LOL.. Just kidding... I have some decent sounds though... Beware of the $600 POD Pro.. It is WAY over priced.. Alot of folks that have them will disagree because they have to justify the money they spent...

Anyway, I suck.
 
The question is way too vague. What guitar? What sound? You didn't even tell me if you're talking about an electric or an acoustic. For dirty electric, the Pod XT Pro is better than most people here give it credit for. Mostly, it just gets beat by a cranked up amp and a mic, though. For clean electric, I think the Vox tonelab is the current state of the art. For acoustic, Avalon U-5 is hard to beat. For live acoustic, I've had very good luck with Yamaha AG stomp, and Aura.-Richie
