what's the best hat for recording kickdrum-rap??

personally I use a black leather fedora along with the ocasional bit of straw boater

I know Leerosario has a cracking hat for the business of kickdrum-rap

one of my favourite instrumentals of all time was recorded using nothing but porkpie hats & it's calle Goodbye Porkpie Hat as recorded by Jeff Beck on the album Wired
