whats my kit made of?

i own a Remo USA quadura 5 peice kit...not the most upperclass kit around, but i love the sound...
one thing i dont know, is what is it made of?
the wood (??) inside is black, and looks like a cross between fiberclass and ply...

doesn anyone else a Quadura?? or can someone perhaps tell me what its made of???

It's made out of Remo's "secret concoction"; I agree, I love the sound of Remo Drums.
I'm not sure exactly what's in it, but they press and roll the stuff. I guess smilar to a cardboard tube. It's pretty heavy duty from what I can tell (a friend has a Remo kit that's close to 10 years old, and I think it still sounds great.)
