What songs?

You know those acoustic slide/blues/western kinda songs you hear in movies or TV shows? I'm just getting into acoustic slide guitar, and I want to start playing stuff like that, but don't know of any artists/songs to listen to.

(I've also seen a lot of them on YouTube already, just looking for artist/song names).

Any suggestions?

Ry Cooder's Paris Texas soundtrack.

Ry Cooder is a great choice - he sorta wrote the book on those soundtracks. Also check out the following movies:
'The Long Riders', 'Alamo Bay', 'The Border', 'Southern Comfort' and 'Crossroads' - all of which he is on or did the whole thing.

For acoustic slide work generally, check out Kelly Joe Phelps, particlularly his earlier stuff 'Lead Me On' and 'Roll Away the Stone'.
